New Bianchi Specialissima 2026: the ultimate bike to climb Teide
Bianchi has just introduced the new generation of the Bianchi Specialissima, a bike designed for riders looking for maximum performance both in the mountains and on the flat. Lighter, faster and more aerodynamic than ever, this new version positions itself as one of the most complete road bikes on the market.
A bike for every terrain
For years, cyclists have had to choose between a lightweight bike for climbing or an aerodynamic bike for riding fast. The new Bianchi Specialissima has been created precisely to remove that need to choose.
Bianchi’s goal was to create a bike capable of excelling on any terrain: long climbs, technical descents, fast roads and even final sprints. According to the Italian brand, the new Bianchi Specialissima delivers a 16-watt aerodynamic improvement compared with the previous generation at 50 km/h.
Lighter than ever
The top-of-the-range Bianchi Specialissima RC features a frame weighing just 750 grams in size 55, while maintaining the same stiffness levels as the previous generation. The frame is also 40 grams lighter than the previous model.
For riders dreaming of climbing roads such as Teide, Masca or Vilaflor, every gram counts. This weight reduction turns the new Bianchi Specialissima into a true climbing machine without sacrificing speed on flatter roads.
Smart aerodynamics
Bianchi has not simply reduced weight. The new fork improves aerodynamic efficiency by 17%, while the new integrated handlebar is 25% more aerodynamic than the previous version.
The result is a bike that allows riders to maintain high speeds with less effort, especially useful for those combining long climbs with fast descents and windy exposed roads.
More control and comfort thanks to Countervail
The entire range includes Bianchi’s exclusive Countervail technology, designed to absorb vibrations and improve bike control.
The new formula used in the Bianchi Specialissima 2026 increases vibration-damping capability, providing greater comfort on long rides and more confidence on fast, technical descents.
Three versions for different riders
The new Bianchi Specialissima 2026 range will be available in three levels:
Bianchi Specialissima RC
The Bianchi Specialissima RC is the version used by professional riders. It is equipped with Reparto Corse components, RC 49R carbon wheels and Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 or SRAM Red AXS groupsets.
Bianchi Specialissima Pro
Designed for demanding riders and racers, the Bianchi Specialissima Pro features an 850-gram frame and Shimano Ultegra Di2 or SRAM Force AXS options.
Bianchi Specialissima
The Bianchi Specialissima is the entry point into Bianchi’s high-performance universe and offers the perfect combination of lightness, aerodynamics and comfort for every type of ride. Available with Shimano 105 Di2, Ultegra or SRAM Rival AXS, it maintains the same philosophy of geometry and performance.
